No Kingdom Without Cross: Every Glory Has a Battle

Have you ever felt the weight of the world pressing down on you? Do you sometimes wonder why, despite your best efforts, the results are not showing? Why is it that the more you try, the more discouraging things seem to get? We live in a world quick to judge. A world where people size each other up based on outward appearances—where the success or failure of others is often measured by fleeting, shallow standards. But what if we are looking at everything all wrong?

The truth is, there is no kingdom without a cross. There is no crown without a struggle. Every soul walking this earth is carrying a burden—some visible, many unseen—and those burdens are part of the journey toward something greater.

We Are All Carrying Our Own Cross

It’s easy to look at others and assume they have it all figured out. To assume that because they seem fine, they must be living without struggles. But appearances are deceiving. You never know the silent battles someone is fighting behind the smile, the pain they are hiding behind their words, or the burdens they are carrying alone. The truth is, everyone has their cross.

Some of us carry crosses of grief, others of sickness. Some wrestle with financial struggles, while others are fighting to regain hope in a broken world. And yet, so many of us wear our crosses in silence. We smile through our pain because we believe that, one day, the cross we carry will become a testimony of God’s grace and victory.

The world may not see it, and others may not understand, but your cross is not a burden without purpose. Every trial, every hardship is molding you, shaping you, and drawing you closer to your ultimate destination: the kingdom.

Don’t Judge, Don’t Assume

The next time you find yourself looking at someone and making assumptions about their life, stop. Stop and remember that you cannot know what they are going through unless you ask. We are quick to judge others based on the outward appearance—based on where they are now. But the outward appearance is fleeting, and often, the deepest struggles happen in silence.

Just because someone seems to be “doing fine” doesn’t mean they are not fighting a hidden battle. Perhaps the person you look down on is struggling to pay off debt, fighting a terminal illness, or enduring a toxic relationship. Maybe they have no one to turn to, and they have to carry that cross alone, hoping that one day it will lead them to the victory that they know is possible.

The Cross Before the Crown

I understand that the weight of the cross is not easy. It may feel like you’re pushing forward with no one noticing. It may feel like the people closest to you have forgotten about you, or that your efforts are in vain. But remember this: no one gets to the kingdom without first carrying the cross.

The road to greatness is never easy, and while the world may celebrate you when you reach the top, they will never know the pain you endured to get there. The person who has struggled the hardest is often the one who can appreciate the crown the most.

If you are struggling right now—whether emotionally, physically, or spiritually—don’t give up. Don’t allow the voices around you to make you feel small or insignificant. Your time will come. Your moment of victory is just around the corner. But you must keep pushing. Even when your family doesn't understand, even when your friends laugh, even when the world mocks you, keep carrying your cross.

The Power of Perseverance

I know it’s not easy. I know the weight of your struggles may feel like it’s too much to bear. But I am here to tell you, don’t quit. You are closer to your breakthrough than you realize. When it feels hardest, when the journey feels unbearable, that is when the breakthrough is near.

Remember, it’s in the moments when you are pushed to your limits that God is preparing you for something greater. Those times of trial are shaping you into the person who will stand tall when the victory finally comes. The heavens see your tears, the heavens recognize your struggle, and the heavens will reward your perseverance.

A Call to Hope

To every weary soul out there, struggling to hold on—this is your call to hope. Don’t give up. Your crown is waiting for you. The pain you feel now is temporary, but the glory ahead of you is eternal. Keep pressing forward, keep praying, keep believing.

The time is closer than you think. Your kingdom is near. And when you finally enter it, you will look back at your cross and see it not as a burden, but as the very thing that brought you to the victory. Keep going. Your cross will lead you to the kingdom.

And when you get there, you will know that every tear, every moment of doubt, every step of the journey was worth it.

Keep pushing...

Your victory is closer than you think.
